PURCHASE, N.Y. – Russell Sage College dropped both ends of this afternoon's doubleheader at Manhattanville.
Junior infielder Hannah Smith (Clifton Park, NY/Clifton Park/Saint Rose) went 3-for-7 with an RBI and a double to pace the Gators.
Freshman infielder/catcher Emily Markowski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa)added a pair of hits in five at-bats across the 9-3 and 17-2 (five innings) non-conference setbacks to the host Valiants (14-6), now winners of six in-a-row.
RSC (5-13) is scheduled to play next on Friday at Houghton.
