RSC's Maddie Cherry named Empire 8 Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Hilton, NY--Russell Sage College rookie women's tennis player Maddie Cherry (Las Vegas, NV/Odyssey Charter) earned Empire 8 Women's Tennis Player of the Week on September 20.
Hilton, NY--Russell Sage College rookie women's tennis player Maddie Cherry (Las Vegas, NV/Odyssey Charter) earned Empire 8 Women's Tennis Player of the Week on September 20. In three matches for the Gators last week, Cherry played at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.
She went a perfect 3-0 in singles play and went 2-1 in doubles competition as the team faced Utica, Houghton and Oswego State. Overall on the fall, she is 4-0 in singles competition and 3-1 in doubles play.
Next up the Gators travel to Mt. St. Mary College on September 23 for a 4:30 p.m. road match with the Knights.
