Sage's Bowman and Gallagher capture Skyline Conference Rookie of Week honors
New York, NY--The Sage College's rookies Megan Bowman (Saranac, NY/Saranac) and Michael Gallagher (Schenectady, NY/Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons) were named Skyline Conference Women's and Men's Basketball Rookies of the Week on Monday by the league office.
Bowman had a very solid week for the Gators…Led them to a 60-55 road win over Staten Island with a season-high 14 pts…For the week, she netted 9.7 ppg on 40% FG, while adding 3.0 rpg, 4.7 apg, and 3.0 spg.

Gallagher led the Gators to a 1-1 league mark this week…He averaged 6.5 ppg and 2.5 rpg, while shooting 80% FG and 83.3 FT%.
