Sage trio earns acclaim from Skyline Conference
New York, NY--With the release of the Skyline Conference players of the week on September 23, Sage had three performers honored for their play during the previous week.
From women's volleyball, junior outside hitter Helen Putriment (Troy, NY/Cobleskill Richmondville) earned co-player of the week honors.
In women's tennis, junior co-captain Kirsten Ackerman (Rensselear, NY/Guilderland) picked up her third straight selection as the women's tennis player of the week.

Rookie midfielder Alex Lanza (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week after connecting on the game-winning goal in overtime to beat the league's defending champions, St. Joseph's (LI) in the Gators' Skyline opener, 4-3.
