Bailey Pepper

At Sage:

• Bailey Pepper played in 9 games as a rookie on the 2017 team and scored one goal.
• She started one of 14 games played in 2018 and helped the Gators earn their first Empire 8 playoff bid.
• As a junior, Pepper played in all 18 games and helped to anchor the team’s defense. Along the way in 2019, the Gators combined for five shutouts and held the opposition to a 1.48 goals against average.
• To date, Pepper has played in 41 matches and has one goal for two career points.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in applied biology at Sage with a path to physical therapy.
• She earned Dean’s List acclaim in 2017-2018 and was honored as an Empire 8 Presidents’ List performer.
• Pepper was a repeat honoree with selections to the Dean’s List in 2018-19 and again in 2019-2020. She closed her junior season earning acclaim as a SCIRES Scholar.
• Pepper was selected by Professors Jennifer A. Dudna and Samuel L. Sternberg for her work in A Crack in Creation: Gene Editing and the Unthinkable Power to Control Evolution. 

High School:

• Attended Chazy Central Rural High School, where she was a three-sport standout, excelling in soccer, basketball, and softball.
• She was a team captain in all three sports.
• Earned Division II all-star first team honors multiple times in soccer and softball.
• Served as a team captain in soccer, basketball, and softball while leading soccer team to Section VII championship five times (2012-2016), while helping 2016 squad to State Final Four Class D Semifinal appearance in 2013.
• A high honor student, she earned academic awards for excellence.
