Bio

A graduate of Catholic Central High School, Rachel Ball arrived at Sage after participating in soccer, track, and cheerleading during her time as a scholastic performer. She helped lead her team to the Big 10 Championship as a senior as well as a Top 15 finish in the state in the sectionals.

Her first season as a Gator was injury-shortened as she played in just 8 games. She handed out one assist in her time on the pitch. 

She was part of the Gators’ 2014 squad that set a new standard for wins in a season, while advancing to the semifinals of both the Skyline and ECAC Tournaments. She played in every game and helped to anchor the Sage midfield with her skills. She will be looked to once again this season as Sage looks to make some noise in post-season once again.

Named the recipient of the Julia O. Wells Scholarship, Ball is a certified lifeguard. She is the daughter of Alan Ball and June Fennelly and is majoring in occupational therapy at Sage. She was named to the 2013 and 2014 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team and has been honored every semester as a Dean’s List student-athlete. She is also a Sage Scholar-Athlete honoree and is a Kellas Scholar and in Sage’s Honor’s Program. semesters of her freshman year.
