Kerry McKeown

At Sage:

  • A newcomer to the team this spring, Kerry McKeown was a stand-out performer at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School.

Academics at Sage:

  • She is majoring in childhood education at Sage.

 

High School:

  • She earned acclaim in both field hockey and lacrosse as a scholastic star leading team to the 2017 state semifinals, while earning the Heart N Hustle Award in field hockey.
  • She also led her lacrosse team to the sectional championship in 2018 and was also honored as the recipient of the States Sportsmanship Award in Field Hockey.
  • A high honor student, she is a National Honor Society member.

 

Personal:

  • She is the daughter of James and Anne McKeown. Her brother Brendan wrestled at Division II East Stroudsburg and placed at the NCAA’s. Her sister Meghan played Division I softball at the University of Buffalo.
