Bio
A newcomer for Sage's women's basketball team, Lea McClain has returned home after a year at Bloomfield College (NJ).
A graduate of Mohonasen High School, she was a standout in basketball, volleyball and outdoor track. She earned a starting role as a freshman point guard in basketball at the mid-point of the season and helped the team to the sectional finals. She earned third-team all area. As a sophomore, she started every game at point guard and earned second-team all-area. Her team won the sections, regional and advanced to the state semifinals.
As a junior, she earned all-area first team acclaim as an every day starter at point guard and was the team's MVP. She capped her scholastic career with a sectional final appearance and was a Channel 13 All-Star, as well as an all-area first team performer. She was also cited as a McDonald's All-America Nomination Award recipient.
The daughter of Ryhon Ivey and Dagmar Rossi, she is a graphic design major at Sage.
