Griffin Goodemote

At Sage:

• Griffin Goodemote was a Gator newcomer in 2017 and helped the team having played in 17 matches.
• He added 7 points on three goals with an assist and was the high-scoring rookie from the Gators’ lineup 2017 squad that finished as the Empire 8 runner-up.
• He started 4 of 10 matches played in 2018.
• As a member of the 2019 team, Goodmote capped the year earning Gator of the Year status. He helped Sage earn the program’s second Empire 8 Tournament selection after the team finished the regular-season second in the league.
• A midfielder, he was honored for his outstanding play in 2019 with a selection to the Empire 8 Men’s Soccer All-Conference Team, earning a slot on the Honorable Mention Team.
• A starter in 17 of 18 matches played in 2019, he was the team’s second leading scorer with 10 points on four goals with two assists. He had a pair of game-winning goals helping Sage defeat SUNY-Cobleskill and Houghton to help Sage to a berth in the 2019 Empire 8 Tournament.
• He has played in 45 career matches at Sage now with 17 career points on seven goals with three assists.
• He is also active with Sage’s Fishing Club.

Academics at Sage:

• Majoring in physical education at Sage.
• Was named to the 2018 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team in the spring and once again in the fall of 2018.

High School:

• A graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School, Goodemote was a soccer team captain and all-league performer.
• Also excelled in the classroom, earning a selection to the High Honor Roll.

Personal:

• He is the son of Chris Goodemote and Susan Hartz.
