Scott Jarosz is coming off a record-setting 2012 season that culminated with his selection to the 2012 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America Third Team and as the 2012-2013 Sage Male Athlete of the Year.

2012 saw him rewrite every Sage scoring mark along the way and by year’s end earning acclaim as the 2012 ECAC Upstate Division III Men’s Soccer Most Outstanding Player after also garnering acclaim as a Skyline Conference All-Star First Team honoree. He was also place on the 2012 NSCAA All-Region Second Team.

He led the entire team with his 22 goals and 44 points, good enough for new Sage single-season marks after playing and starting all 20 games on the 2012 campaign. He had five game-winning goals, including both during the two games at the ECAC Tournament.  Over the course of the season, he was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Division III Men’s Soccer Player of the Week on October 10, while also garnering four selections as the Skyline Conference Men’s Player or Co-Player of the Week.

As a sophomore, he was hampered by a pre-season injury. He played in 12 games as a sophomore with one goal on the 2011 campaign as the Gators earned post-season appearances in both the Skyline Conference Tournament and the ECAC Metro NY-NJ Tournament.

As a rookie, he played in 17 games and added 8 goals and an assist for 17 points to lead the young Gators. He added one game-winning goal as well for the team, which capped the inaugural season with a spot in the 2010 Skyline Conference Tournament.

Back for his final season this fall, Jarosz has played in 49 games for Sage and has 31 goals with one assist and leads the program with his 63 career points. He has six career game-winning goals as well.

As a member of the Brunswick High School soccer team, he helped the squad to a State Cup Runner-up finish as well as the Eastern Final Championship crown and the KVAC Championship.

A physical therapy major at Sage, he was named to the 2011 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as a sophomore. He is active as a member of Sage's SAAC and has also participated as a coach for the Seacoast United Maine Soccer Club.  He was also named to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in 2012, while earning back to back selections to the Sage Scholar-Athlete Team in 2012-2013.

He is the son of James and Karen Jarosz and holds dual citizenship in both the United States and England. He is planning to pursue a career as a physical therapist with goals of garnering his doctoral degree.
