Kallan Shertzer

At Sage:

• Kallan Shertzer arrived at Sage after a scholastic career at nearby Shenendehowa High School.
• In her first season with the Gators, she started all 18 matches in goal for the team and wrapped the season having gone 7-11 in goal.
• She had a .841 saves percentage with 5 shutouts and a 1.48 goals against average.
• Along the way, she added name into the Gator single-game record book. She added 14 saves twice, against both Cortland State and Keene State which ranks 8^th best in single-game saves. She also had a pair of 13 saves games against Castleton and Hamilton which ranks 11^th best in single-game saves.
• She earned Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week honors on October 7, 2019.
• As a member of the 2020-2021 team, she helped to lead the Gators to their first Empire 8 Championship.
• She was 5-0 in goal with a .864 saves percentage and a 0.66 goals against average on the season.
• On her career, she is now 12-11 in net with a 1.32 career goals against average. She has also helped to record 7.1 shutouts along the way and is currently fourth on the program’s career shutout list. She is also 10^th with her 2,048 minutes in goal and ninth with her 162 career saves.   

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in physical therapy at Sage.
  

High School:

• A varsity soccer player at Shenendehowa, Shertzer helped lead the squad to a sectional finalist appearance and was an honor roll student.

• She is the daughter of David and Katharine Shertzer.
