DALLAS, Pa. –  Russell Sage College dropped both ends of this afternoon's doubleheader at Misericordia 3-0, 3-0.

Junior outside hitter Corey Topple (Hudson, NY/Hudson) led the Gators with nine total kills. Senior opposite Deshawn Fleary (Newark, NJ/Immaculate Conception Montclair) contributed five kills, 10 digs, and two aces, while setter Ryan Jennings (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick Twp.), a graduate student, (above) registered 14 assists and nine digs.

Misericordia (16-15) hit .386 as a team in the pair of sweeps. Sophomore outside hitterAlex Furlong topped the Cougars with 15 kills on .423 hitting. Freshman setter accumulated 45 assists and five total blocks, while junior outside hitter James Walsh added 11 kills and six digs.

RSC (4-22) plays next on Thursday, March 31 vs. Eastern Nazarene. The NECC game is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
