ALBANY, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College senior thrower John Coddington (Amsterdam, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth) was chosen the Empire 8 Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 5.

He increased his program record in the weight throw at the Saturday's Regional Championships with a mark of 16.95m. The toss was good for seventh at the meet.
