ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College junior goalie Nolan Murphy (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) was named the Empire 8 Conference men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, for the period ending Sunday, October 10.

Murphy did not allow a goal across two matches this week. The junior totaled 12 saves during the 200:00 minutes, including seven in Saturday's E8 win vs. St. John Fisher.

Looking ahead, the Gators (5-5-2/1-3 E8) host Wells on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
