Jeaneste Pierre

At Sage:              

• Jeaneste Pierre started one of 14 matches played as a newcomer in 2017.
• He added five points on two goals with an assist and added one game-winning goal. At year’s end, he was named the freshmen of the year by the coaching staff.
• Helped Sage’s team to a berth in the Empire 8 Championship match in 2017.
• As a sophomore, he added 3 goals with on game-winning goal. He had the game-winner as Sage beat Elms in 2018.
• Pierre added a personal-best 10 points in 2019 and once again helped the program to a sport in the Empire 8 tournament, this time as the No. 2 seed.
• Along the way in 2019, he had 4 goals with 2 assists and started 10 of 13 matches played.
• Entering his senior campaign, Pierre has played in 42 matches and ranks among the all-time leaders in Gator history.
• Pierre has 21 career points, which is tied for 13^th, while his 9 career goals in tied for 8^th best at Sage.

Academics at Sage:

• He is majoring in psychology at Sage.
• He is active with Sage’s SAAC and the Chomper’s Reading program.
• Pierre serves Sage’s SAAC as this year’s Social Media Co-Chair.

High School:

• Attended Newburgh Free Academy, excelling on the pitch and as a member of the track team.
• Served as a soccer team captain and helped the team to the NY State semifinals.
• He was an honors student.

Personal:

• He is the son of Odeste Pierre and Gina Elan.
