Hilton, NY---Russell Sage College's senior men's golfer Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) has been chosen as the first Empire 8 Men's Golfer of the Week with the announcement of the E8 Players of the Week.

The Gators finished in second place on Saturday, while competing at the SUNY-Cobleskill Invitational. Phair finished in fourth overall after he carded a 77 for the day with her personal best round after he had a 42 on the front-nine and tore up the back nine with a round of 35.

Next up for the Gators, they will host the RSC Fall Invitational on September 11 at Colonie Golf and Country Club, which is set for a 1 p.m. tee-off.
